Training - Land-based Studies

We provide a Level 1 Certificate in Land-based Studies for students. This course is ideal for candidates who are wishing to progress onto an NVQ in horse care level 2 or whom wish to enter and have career progression within the sector.

In the course, the students will learn the following:

• Caring for the health and wellbeing of horses
• How to effectively handle and restrain horses to control
• The preparation and maintenance of horses' accommodations
• The correct procedure of feeding and watering horses
