Training - Painting and Decorating

This course provides a Level 1 Vocational Qualification, which covers the basic skills required for painting and decorating.

Students will learn the skills and knowledge of:

• Applying oil based paint to walls by roller
• Applying emulsion
• Removing and hanging wall paper
• Introduction to Artexing & Coving
• Wallpapering to ceilings
• Broken colour techniques
• Painting doors and frames
• Rust removal and priming of metal

Students can work as part of a team or on their own initiative, those who reach the required standards will have the opportunity to work on real projects as part of our E2E work experience.
